Follow up surveys are mailed with self-addressed stamped envelopes to clients to rate our services and offer any suggestions for improvement of our program. As an incentive for returning the survey, a small gift will be sent to their child/children.
The services supervisor will review returned surveys to determine if there are any areas of concern, problems encountered or suggestions for improvement. The services supervisor will discuss any situations with the appropriate staff member and if necessary, call the parent for additional information. If deemed necessary, all staff may be included in the discussion. Suggestions for improvement will be reviewed and a corrective plan implemented if needed.
Processed surveys will then be maintained in a Parent Follow Up Notebook. The parent counselor will calculate the percentage of surveys returned and provide a report at office staff meeting quarterly.
The parent counselor will enter information reported in the follow up surveys into the Care Finder database quarterly. This data is used to determine child care statistics statewide.
