Philosophy
My goal is to provide all of the children in my care a loving, clean, safe, comfortable, exiting, fun environment where they are free to explore and express themselves. I believe in the value of both structured and flexible schedules. Structured activities will include the use of a preschool curriculum, regular reading times, art and crafts, creative activities, and musical activities. Each child develops at their own rate. I will use activities to enhance social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development alone with creative development. We will enjoy outdoor play, free play, birthday parties', songs and finger plays. Having fun while learning is a priority for me. I encourage lots of activities which means that children may get messy at times. I will do my best to maintain cleanliness and order; however fun and the well-being of children will take precedence over cleaning.
